I’m writing with news I hoped I would never have to send. The Pink Party 2026, set for September 7th at Pier 62, is canceled.

Every ticket is being refunded in full, automatically. You will receive an email from DICE about your refund shortly.

This year did not go the way we planned. In March, FIFA took over Pier 62 and we lost our date. We rebuilt the event and gave it everything we had. In the end, the numbers didn’t come together, and we can’t put on The Pink Party the way you deserve.

I know how many of you were looking forward to this, and I’m deeply sorry.

The Pink Party is entirely self-funded. No sponsors, no corporate opinions. That’s deliberate. It keeps this about one thing. Spreading queer joy and building a dance floor where everyone belongs. It also means that pushing forward would put The Pink Party somewhere we might not be able to come back from. Put simply, in order to keep building dance floors into the future, we had to make this very hard decision.

This would have been our second year. We’re going back to the drawing board, taking an honest look at everything that happened in 2026, and doing the work to come back with something we’re all proud of. I hope that’s 2027.
